NOTEWhat follows is our index since we began (at a capital of
£50.00 and a small typewriter in a tiny bedsitter!) publication in June 1976.
We have now moved from the small typewriter into the electronic age, where you
can find up-to-date information on our website (www.maghrebreview.com). We have
published four such indexes in the past, 1976-1984 volume 9, 3-4, 1984, 1984-1988
in volume 14, 3-4, 1989 and 1976-1996 in volume 21, 3-4, 1996. 1976-2005,
Volume 31. 1, 2005. These four indexes are now included here. ANNUAL SETS: A few annual sets since volume 1 (1976) are still available. Rates are available here. SINGLE ISSUES: All single issues, double numbers and special issues since 1976 are available and can be purchased through our website or through your bookshop or subscription agent. DISCOUNT: Our subscribers who wish to complete their sets or replace copies lost will be charged production cost plus postage only. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our contributors and subscribers for their continued support and patience. It is they who make this publication so successful, and enable us to continue. Since our first issue in June 1976, sales have increased from 50 to 988 institutional subscribers in December 2005 in the following countries.
There are 105 individual subscribers in Europe, Japan and the United States. There is still a need, however, to increase circulation,
with subscriptions both from individual scholars and institutional libraries,
so, please tell your friends and Librarian about us. ORIGINAL PAPERS: original papers from scholars on any topic on the
Maghreb, Africa, the Middle East, Iran, Turkey and Islamic studies from the earliest
times to the present day ( history, ethnography economics, politics, Islamic culture
philosophy and sciences in the Islamic world, linguistics, literature, agriculture,
sociology, anthropology, ethnomusicology, and relevant medical issues in our fields)
are always welcome. REVIEWS AND PHD THESES ABSTRACTS: The Maghreb Review would welcome
receipt of a single-page abstracts of theses presented and accepted in the Universities
and other Higher Education Institution world wide in our area of research for inclusion
in The Maghreb Review. The text of the abstract should be in English or French.
