TRADE TERMS

SPECIAL CUSTOMER SELECTION

1. This site contains only a small part of our stock of new and scarce books. In the case of scarce titles, single copies only are available. They are therefore offered subject to availability at the time of firm order. Please send an initial enquiry before placing a firm order.
   
   
2. ORDERS: Firm orders should be sent, faxed or emailed to the above address. We are normally open from 9.30 to 6.00 but would advise that customers telephone first. Books are dispatched on receipt of the order and payment via Parcel Post or Parcel Force International to the address specified in the order. THE MAGHREB BOOKSHOP assumes no responsibility for non-delivery, but any non-receipt should be notified within three (3) weeks of posting, so that the postal authorities can be informed.
   
   Our books are securely packed and Notification should be given on receipt of any book received in a damaged condition for reference to the postal authorities. Carriage and Insurance is obligatory and is additional to the price quoted.
   
   CANCELLATION: We can only accept cancellation of an order if notice of cancellation reaches us before we send out books ordered.
   
   MINIMUM ORDER: Please note that we can only process orders for a minimum of £10.
   
   POSTAGE:
   UK: ADD £5.10 for the first book ordered and £3.80 for each additional book.
   EUROPE: ADD £8.90 for the first book ordered and £4.90 for each additional book.
   REST OF THE WORLD: ADD £10.90 for the first book ordered and £5.90 for each additional book.
   For orders exceeding five books, quotations will be given on request.
   If required, books can be sent by Air Mail (book rate), quotations will be given on request.
   
   Note: For online orders placed using the Add to shopping basket buttons the postage cost is calculated and shown separately in the basket.
3. PAYMENTS: Cheques in sterling or international money order must be drawn on a Bank in the United Kingdom.
   
   If you wish to pay by bank transfer please contact us for bank details.
   
   NOTE: BANK TRANSFER CHARGES FROM OVERSEAS AND FROM THE U.K. MUST BE PAID BY THE SENDER.
   
   IMPORTANT If you pay into our Bank account, please send proof of payment, and mailing address so we can amend our records (without this, we would not be able to know who has paid).
   
   If customers confirm by email or fax that their cheque is on the way to us or that they are transferring the money to our bank account, books will be kept for up to 10 days.
   
   CREDIT CARDS: We accept Credit Cards online, with secure transaction facility handled by PayPal. We accept the following credit cards: Mastercard, Switch, Visa, Visa Electron, and Solo.
   
   The Maghreb Review and The Maghreb Bookshop takes no responsibility for any errors between customer and PayPal transaction transfers, but please inform us immediately of any problems which may arise.
   
   
4. Firm orders from Institutional subscribers to The Maghreb Review, National, Universities, and Governmental Libraries who are known to us not to be slow payers will be supplied with an invoice for payment on receipt of the books.
   
   
5. Items are browsable in various categories or alphabetically by author and searchable by keyword. To browse or search, click on the Search Booklists button in the menubar.
   
   
6. LAW: These conditions and all other express terms in this Web Site shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England.
7. We may revise these terms and conditions from time-to-time without prior notice.
